Råd från investeringsprofilen Sir John Templeton

Återanvänder här nedan helt enkelt ett blogginlägg som har 9 år på nacken. Som bloggarkollegan Dollarmiljonär påpekade så är Templetons råd ständigt aktuella. Vem är då Templeton?

Templeton, eller egentligen Sir John Templeton, är en känd investeringsprofil. Han investerade över hela världen och investerade gärna där det rådde maximal pessimism för att sedan sälja när optimismen var som störst. Ett exempel är att han investerade mycket i bolag i det militärt besegrade Japan under efterkrigstiden. Själv har han uttryckt det med orden: "Bull markets are born on pessimism, grown on skepticism, mature on optimism and die on euphoria. The time of maximum pessimism is the best time to buy, and the time of maximum optimism is the best time to sell."

Templeton är bl.a. känd för sin Templeton Growth Fund.
